
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department responded to nearly 40 calls for service throughout the city on October 6, 2025, addressing a range of incidents including theft, burglary, domestic disputes, and property damage, according to the department’s daily media log.
Officers conducted numerous extra patrols overnight and early in the morning, checking neighborhoods on Hillcrest Drive, Watt Street, North Pickaway Street, North Court Street, and Cottage Hill Lane, all of which were reported as “checked okay.”
A well-being check on East Main Street around 4:43 a.m. also concluded without issue.
Later in the morning, officers took a theft report on East Union Street and a burglary report on Watt Street. They also handled a domestic trouble call on Villa Drive, with a report taken at that scene.
Police investigated several disturbance and harassment complaints throughout the day, including incidents on South Pickaway Street, Eva Drive, and East Mill Street, though no reports were filed in those cases.
A property damage report was taken on East Main Street in the afternoon, and officers also responded to a non-injury traffic accident on West Union Street, taking a report there as well.
Other calls included civil process paperwork service, an animal call handled by another agency on Highland Avenue, and a fire alarm drop on Huston Street that resulted in a report.
The day concluded with officers responding to a traffic stop, well-being checks, and a trespassing call that did not result in a report.
In total, Circleville Police documented 39 incidents for the day, with most routine patrols and checks found to be in order.
