Circleville Police Handle Domestic Dispute, Vandalism, Threats, and More on September 2

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (Sept. 3, 2025) – Circleville Police responded to more than 30 calls for service on Tuesday, September 2, according to daily reports.

The day began with a series of extra patrols across city streets, including East Mill, North Court, East Union, Walnut, and others. Most of these checks were cleared with no issues.

At 1:50 a.m., officers were dispatched to South Pickaway Street for a domestic trouble complaint. A report was taken in that incident.

Later in the morning, around 7:08 a.m., police conducted a well-being check along U.S. 23, which resulted in an arrest. Shortly after, an animal call on North Court Street was transferred to another agency.

At 8:32 a.m., officers took a report of a protection order violation on East Franklin Street. Around 9:48 a.m., police investigated a vandalism complaint on Mowrer Road and documented the incident.

Reports of threats and harassment were made twice during the day—first at 11:22 a.m. on Cottage Hill Lane and again at 7:39 p.m. on Lancaster Pike. Both resulted in official reports.

Other incidents included:

  • A structural fire call on Edmonds Drive around 1 p.m., which was later cleared.
  • A juvenile complaint on Pleasant Street at 3:53 p.m. with a report taken.
  • A property damage complaint on North Court Street at 4 p.m.
  • Multiple 911 hang-ups, including one on Stella Avenue where an emergency squad transported a person to the hospital.

Circleville Police also assisted with mental health and homelessness-related calls along U.S. 23 and East Franklin Street during the day.

In total, officers logged 32 incidents ranging from routine patrols to serious complaints.
