
CIRCLEVILLE – The Circleville Police Department responded to a steady flow of calls on Thursday, September 11, 2025, addressing incidents ranging from routine patrol checks and traffic stops to more serious complaints involving threats, a dog bite, and an arrest.
The day began shortly after midnight with multiple extra patrols across State Route 188, Lancaster Pike, and Pickaway Street, all of which were reported as checked okay. A traffic stop on South Court Street at 2:07 a.m. resulted in a citation.
Around 4:22 a.m., officers investigated an alarm drop on Harrison Street, where a report was taken. Later that morning, police handled a warrant case on Fisher Road and several parking complaints on Cedar Heights Road, East Franklin Street, and Pontious Lane.
By 11:22 a.m., police were called to Morris Road regarding a homeless person, and just before 1 p.m., a dog bite incident on South Scioto Street resulted in a report being filed.

Throughout the afternoon, officers handled miscellaneous complaints, a civil problem on West Mound Street, and an animal call on Watt Street, all of which required reports. They also responded to a series of 911 hang-ups, well-being checks, and harassment complaints.
At 8:29 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on East Water Street that led to an arrest. Later in the evening, a drunk driver was reported on East Main Street, but the suspect was gone before officers arrived.
The night closed with more traffic stops on North Court Street—one ending with a warning—and another alarm drop at 10:13 p.m. that was checked and cleared.
In total, Circleville police logged 38 calls for service on September 11.
