
CIRCLEVILLE – The Circleville Police Department logged 68 service calls on Wednesday, Sept. 10, ranging from extra patrols to theft reports, accidents, and juvenile complaints, according to the daily media report.
Through the overnight hours, officers conducted numerous extra patrols across the city, checking on locations along West Main Street, East Franklin Street, North and South Court streets, Pickaway Street, Harwich Road, Clark Drive, and others. All of those checks were found to be in order.
A few notable incidents included:
- Lancaster Pike (1:49 a.m.) – Police checked on a disabled vehicle, which was cleared without issue.
- U.S. 23 (2:21 a.m.) – An alarm drop was investigated and found secure.
- North Court Street (2:25 a.m.) – Officers responded to a juvenile complaint and filed a report.
- Watt Street (3:50 a.m.) – A juvenile complaint was resolved at the scene.
- Hardwood Avenue (7:48 a.m.) – A theft report was taken.
- South Washington Street (10:46 a.m.) – Officers took a report following a non-injury crash.
- Island Road (1:13 p.m.) – A reported injury crash was checked and found okay.
- North Paint Street (1:38 p.m.) – Officers served a warrant, and a report was filed.
- Pontious Lane (3:12 p.m.) – Found property was turned over to police, with a report taken.
- York Street (4:27 p.m.) – Officers responded to a fight; no report was filed.
- Clark Drive (4:53 p.m.) – An injury accident was reported but officers were unable to locate the incident.
- Lancaster Pike (5:08 p.m.) – Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout, report taken.
- East Ohio Street (5:18 p.m.) – Police responded to an unruly juvenile complaint, report taken.
- East Mound Street (6:11 p.m.) – A vandalism complaint led to a report being filed.
- Rosewood Avenue (6:19 p.m.) – Officers investigated a juvenile complaint and filed a report.
- South Court Street (10:34 p.m.) – Police took a domestic trouble report.
Other calls included disturbances, animal complaints, well-being checks, suspicious vehicles, property damage, harassment complaints, homeless person calls, and traffic offenses. Several dirt bike and ATV complaints were reported later in the day but were gone upon arrival.
The report reflects a steady mix of routine patrol activity and responses to calls for service throughout Circleville.
