
CIRCLEVILLE, OH (Feb. 5, 2026) — Circleville Police officers responded to 48 calls for service on Tuesday, February 4, handling a wide range of incidents that included a domestic disturbance, reported theft, threats complaints, traffic stops, and numerous warrant-related calls.
Officers conducted frequent extra patrols throughout the overnight hours across several areas of the city, including East Main Street, U.S. 23, East Circle Lane, Scioto Street, and Springhollow Road. Most of those patrols were cleared without incident.
At approximately 3:51 a.m., police responded to a domestic trouble call on Alma Avenue. A report was taken, though no further details were released.
Later in the morning, officers handled a property damage report on North Court Street and responded to a theft-in-progress call on West Union Street. No report was taken in that theft call, according to police logs.
Throughout the day, officers attempted to serve multiple warrants at locations across Circleville, including Maplewood Avenue, South Court Street, Long Street, South Pickaway Street, South Washington Street, and Island Road. Some warrant attempts resulted in reports being taken, while others were cleared after officers were unable to locate the individuals.
Police also responded to several threats and harassment complaints, including incidents on Tower Court, East Franklin Street, East Mound Street, and Brown Street. Some of those calls resulted in reports, while others were resolved on scene without further action.
Traffic enforcement remained active during the day, with officers issuing citations and warnings following traffic stops on South Pickaway Street, Lancaster Pike, and South Court Street. Traffic control details were also conducted on North Court Street.
Additional calls included multiple 911 hang-ups, suspicious person reports, well-being checks, a juvenile complaint, a lines-and-pole-down call on Mowrer Road, and a fire-related call on Summit Avenue that was handled by another agency.
