CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – July 12, 2025 — Families in Circleville are in for a day full of community fun today, as Friday in the Park festivities return to Ted Lewis Park with kid-friendly activities, followed by an evening movie under the stars.

The day begins at 11 a.m., when the City of Circleville Utilities and Service Departments host a special event for children, offering games, hands-on activities, and opportunities to learn about the city’s services in a fun and engaging environment.

Later tonight, the City’s Summer Movie Series continues with a free outdoor screening of Guardians of the Galaxy, also held in Ted Lewis Park. The event begins around 7:30 p.m., with the movie set to start at sunset, approximately 8:30 p.m.

Free popcorn, pizza, and snacks will be available while supplies last, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own non-alcoholic drinks, along with lawn chairs and blankets for comfort.

The weather forecast looks favorable, making for a perfect evening to enjoy a movie in the park. However, in the event of rain, the screening will be postponed to Saturday, July 12. Updates will be shared through city communication channels as needed.

Previous movie nights have included giveaways and free food, and organizers expect another fun and festive crowd tonight.
