CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Summer fun is just around the corner at Ted Lewis Park, where the City of Circleville has announced a full schedule of free family events, including a Summer Movie Series under the stars and the popular Fridays in the Park program for kids.
🎬 Summer Movie Series at Sunset
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and loved ones for free outdoor movie nights at Ted Lewis Park, 443 N. Court Street. Movies begin at sunset, and free snacks will be provided. Here’s the full lineup:
- June 13 – Moana 2
- July 11 – Guardians of the Galaxy
- August 8 – Shrek
- September 12 – Sonic 3
The movie series is made possible by generous support from Friends of Ted Lewis Park, RJ Wright, Sofidel, and Ohio Health Berger.

🎨 Fridays in the Park: June 13 – August 1
Circleville’s beloved Fridays in the Park returns this summer from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering free activities for children preschool through fifth grade. Held at Ted Lewis Park, the program includes crafts, games, physical activities, and educational opportunities.
Each week features a different theme and special guests:
- June 13 – Pickaway Soil & Water and OSU Extension
- June 20 – Circleville Fire & Police Departments
- June 27 – Pickaway YMCA & ODNR Division of Parks & Watercraft
- July 11 – Circleville Utilities & Service Departments
- July 18 – Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities
- July 25 – Pickaway County Library
- August 1 – Foundations Youth
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Be sure to dress for fun — play clothes are a must!

💦 Splash Pads Opening Soon!
Cool off this summer at the splash pads at Ted Lewis Park and Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park, scheduled to open by Memorial Day — possibly earlier if the weather cooperates!
Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
