Chillicothe Police Respond to Variety of Incidents on June 4

CHILLICOTHE, OH – June 5, 2025 – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a range of calls across the city on Tuesday, June 4, according to its daily media report. Officers addressed 26 incidents involving criminal activity, traffic enforcement, and public safety concerns.

Among the notable incidents:

  • Two Arrests on Warrants: Officers executed two separate warrant-related arrests. One individual was taken into custody at 28 N Paint Street, while another, identified as David Lindsey, was arrested at 348 E 2nd Street on an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass.
  • Thefts and Trespassing: Police responded to multiple reports of theft and criminal trespass, including shoplifting incidents at Walmart and other businesses on North Bridge Street. In total, at least four trespass-related complaints and five theft-related cases were logged throughout the day.
  • Disorderly Conduct on Adams Avenue: Officers were dispatched to Adams Avenue twice in response to public disturbances. One report involved two individuals allegedly fighting in the street. Another call later in the day involved a possible burglary.
  • Counterfeit Currency Reported: Police were called to Texas Roadhouse on North Bridge Street for a report of counterfeit money. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
  • Violation of Protection Order: Officers responded to a complaint of a protection order violation at a residence on St. Margaret Road.
  • Crash Investigations and Traffic Violations: Several vehicle-related incidents occurred, including a hit-skip crash at the McDonald’s on North Bridge Street, and a driver cited for failing to reinstate their license following a crash on West Main Street.
  • Non-Criminal Matters: Officers also addressed several non-criminal issues including found property, parking complaints, and public welfare concerns, such as a woman reporting her husband missing after he refused to return home with her.

Police have stated that investigations remain ongoing in multiple cases, and they encourage the public to report any information relevant to the ongoing investigations.
