CHILLICOTHE — A series of calls kept Chillicothe Police officers busy throughout Saturday, December 6, 2025, with incidents ranging from trespassing and disorderly conduct to thefts and a missing person report, according to the department’s daily media log.
Criminal Trespass — Allen Avenue
Around 4:12 a.m., officers were dispatched to 604 Allen Avenue for a reported criminal trespass. The incident remains under investigation.
Disorderly Conduct — Church Street
At 8:04 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Church Street for a disorderly conduct complaint. No arrests were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
Theft — Ollie’s Bargain Outlet
At 3:39 p.m., officers were called to Ollie’s on Consumer Center Drive for a reported theft. The suspect had left before officers arrived. The case remains under review.

Theft by Deception / Shoplifting — River Trace Lane
Police were dispatched at 6:13 p.m. to 85 River Trace Lane for a theft report involving shoplifting. The investigation is ongoing.
Criminal Trespass & Criminal Mischief — Menards
At 6:40 p.m., officers responded to Menards at 1570 N. Bridge Street for a reported theft involving trespassing and tampering. Police continue to investigate.
Missing Person — Lille Street
Around 8:18 p.m., a woman reported a missing person incident at the Law Enforcement Complex. She lives at 533 Lille Street. Officers are actively investigating the report.
Shoplifting — Walmart on River Trace Lane
At 9:00 p.m., officers were again dispatched to 85 River Trace Lane (Walmart) for another theft complaint. Investigation continues.
Non-Criminal Domestic Disturbance — South Watt Street
At 9:03 p.m., officers responded to 625 S. Watt Street for a disorderly situation. The caller, identified as Maggie Cottrill, told officers her boyfriend had become verbally aggressive during an argument. She requested he be trespassed from the property. No assault was reported.
Fail to Control Vehicle
A crash report was filed at 9:57 p.m. following a vehicle that failed to maintain control. Details were not included in the media log.
Trespass Complaint — South Walnut Street
At 10:49 p.m., police were called to 78 S. Walnut Street for a trespassing complaint. The investigation is ongoing.
