Chillicothe Police Respond to Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, and Overdose Calls

CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department released its daily media report for January 4, 2026, detailing a series of calls ranging from juvenile-related complaints and trespassing incidents to disorderly conduct and a reported drug overdose.

Officers responded to multiple calls involving criminal trespass, including one incident along North Bridge Street near a local business where a man was reported causing concern in the area. Another trespassing-related call occurred at Menards on North Bridge Street, where officers responded to a reported shoplifting in progress. Police made contact with the suspects and barred them from the store. No further action was taken.

Additional incidents included:

  • A disorderly conduct call on Arch Street, where officers were dispatched in reference to a reported assault.
  • A theft complaint at the Kroger on Western Avenue, which was classified as non-criminal and remains under investigation.
  • A welfare check at Tiffin Towers on South Walnut Street, which was logged as disorderly conduct while officers continued investigating the situation.
  • A combined non-criminal and criminal trespass complaint on Ohio Avenue, involving a reported theft.
  • An arrest made on South Brownell Street after officers located a female with an active warrant.
  • A drug overdose response on East Main Street, where officers responded to a reported overdose and issued a summons at the scene.
