CHILLICOTHE, OH – Chillicothe Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of N. Brownell and E. Second Street on Monday, June 30, 2025, at approximately 6:39 p.m. EDT, following reports of shots fired, with details released at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The incident led to multiple arrests after a violent altercation involving a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a group outside 611 E. Second Street, where Betty Campbell reported that a male, later identified as Isaiah Allagree, had threatened to shoot them. Officer Jon Campbell located Allagree, patted him down, and detained him in a cruiser. Allagree claimed a shirtless “fat guy” fired a gun but denied possessing one himself. A resident provided video evidence showing a verbal argument escalating into a fight, with Christopher Williamson, a large shirtless male, firing multiple rounds into the ground with a Taurus 9mm handgun. The video also captured Brooklynn Williamson, a minor, and Betty Campbell engaging in the confrontation, with no evidence of Allagree holding a firearm.

Based on the video, Christopher Williamson, 37, was arrested for discharging a firearm within city limits and transported to Adena Medical Center for an asthma attack, where he received a summons from Officer Wright. Betty Campbell and Isaiah Allagree were charged with disorderly conduct by fighting. All court dates are set for July 11, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The firearm was collected as evidence.

Officer Joseph Gay, responding to the same call, confirmed the group’s accounts, including witnesses, who reported mud kicked up by the gunfire. Allagree received a summons for his role in the fight. The investigation remains active, with further details to follow.
