CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a busy day of calls on Tuesday, November 12, 2025, responding to multiple incidents ranging from theft and disorderly conduct to traffic violations and drug-related offenses, according to the department’s daily media report.

Officers began the day around 5:23 a.m. with a response to 669 Adams Avenue for a domestic disturbance. That case remains under investigation.

Later in the morning, police were called to 376 Clay Street and Walmart on River Trace Lane for separate reports of theft without consent, both of which are still under investigation. Another theft report came in from North Bridge Street, where officers also investigated a misuse of credit card complaint.

Throughout the afternoon, officers handled several traffic-related calls, including a failure to yield crash at Bridge and Pawnee, a motor vehicle accident at Charley’s Steakery on North Bridge Street, and additional non-injury crashes along East Main and East Second streets.

A criminal trespass report was taken at the Chillicothe School bus garage on Orange Street, after a suspicious person was seen on the property. Officers also responded to 520 South Paint Street for yet another theft report.

During a patrol on East Second Street, officers identified Jacob Kazee, who was wanted on active warrants. He was taken into custody after a traffic stop revealed his registration was suspended.

Other incidents throughout the day included juvenile complaints, disorderly conduct, fictitious license plates, littering, and several traffic citations.

Later that night, officers cited Chancey Hardesty on South Hickory Street for driving under suspension, and just before midnight, a drug possession investigation was initiated following a citizen contact on East Water Street. That case is pending laboratory results.

The Chillicothe Police Department continues to investigate several of these cases and urges residents to report any suspicious activity.
