Chillicothe Police Respond to Drug Arrest, Warrants, Trespassing, and Multiple Crashes on Feb. 4

CHILLICOTHE, OH (Feb. 5, 2026) — Chillicothe Police officers handled a wide range of calls on Wednesday, February 4, including a drug-related traffic stop, multiple warrant services, trespassing complaints, and several traffic crashes, according to the department’s daily media report.

Shortly after 1 a.m., officers initiated a traffic stop on a gray Hyundai SUV on East Main Street. The stop resulted in a report for possession of drugs involving a Schedule I or II substance. The investigation remains pending.

Throughout the morning, officers served multiple warrants, including one at the Chillicothe Municipal Court lobby involving a wanted individual. Additional warrant-related activity occurred later in the day, with investigations ongoing.

Around 11 a.m., police responded to a trespassing complaint on East Main Street. That call later expanded to include a warrant and criminal trespass investigation. No further details were released.

Officers were also dispatched to the Law Enforcement Complex regarding a possible non-criminal transport request. That incident required no further action.

In the afternoon, police responded to reports of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing near North Bridge Street and East Second Street, initially reported as a possible assault. The situation remains under investigation.

Later in the day, officers conducted a welfare check at a residence on Orange Street that led to a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. That investigation is continuing.

Additional calls included a threats complaint on East Fourth Street, which was documented with no further action taken, and a traffic crash on East Seventh Street involving a failure to yield while making a left turn.

The day concluded with officers responding just before midnight to a hit-skip crash at a Pilot gas station on East Main Street. The crash occurred on private property, and the investigation remains open.

In total, Chillicothe Police documented 10 separate incidents during the 24-hour reporting period.
