Chillicothe Police Respond to Domestic Dispute, Theft, Warrant Arrest Attempt and Crash on Valentine’s Day

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe Police responded to a series of incidents across the city on February 14, including a domestic dispute, theft complaint, warrant arrest attempt, crash, and a reported threat.

Morning Domestic Dispute

At approximately 8:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Theatre Street in reference to a domestic dispute. The incident was classified as disorderly conduct.

Theft Reported at Walmart

Around 1:07 p.m., police responded to Walmart at 85 River Trace Lane for a theft complaint. The investigation remains ongoing.

Additional Disorderly Conduct Complaint

Later in the afternoon, at approximately 1:35 p.m., officers were called to 221 E. Main Street in reference to another disorderly conduct complaint. Authorities say that investigation is also continuing.

Warrant Arrest Attempt

At 4:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to 259 Annis Court in an attempt to locate and arrest Adam Sharp for allegedly violating a protection order at the request of the Waverly Police Department. Sharp was also reportedly wanted on a failure-to-appear warrant through the Pike County Sheriff’s Office for assault.

Crash and Threat Complaint

Police responded to a crash at Red Lobster, 1079 N. Bridge Street, at approximately 5:38 p.m. The crash remains under investigation.

Later in the evening, officers were contacted regarding a threat complaint that allegedly occurred at LongHorn Steakhouse on North Bridge Street. Officers responded to the Law Enforcement Complex to take the report. No further action was reported.

In total, Chillicothe Police logged six reports on February 14 as officers continued patrol operations throughout the city.
