Chillicothe Police Respond to 15 Incidents on November 13, Including Arrest at Lowe’s, Multiple Thefts, and Several Domestic Calls

CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department handled 15 calls for service on Thursday, November 13, ranging from thefts and disorderly conduct to juvenile complaints and traffic-related incidents, according to the department’s daily media log.

Arrest at Lowe’s for Disorderly Conduct and Menacing
The first major call came at 3:41 a.m., when officers responded to Lowe’s on N. Bridge Street for an active disorderly situation involving criminal mischief and aggravated menacing. An arrest was made, and the incident was cleared with no further action needed.

Vehicle-Related Crimes Continue
Shortly after 7:16 a.m., officers were dispatched to South Hickory Street for a theft from a motor vehicle. The investigation remains open.
At 9:03 a.m., officers took a report of a stolen vehicle on Caldwell Street, with that case also still under investigation.

Domestic and Disorderly Calls
Police responded to a domestic-related disorderly call on W. Water Street around 11:25 a.m., marking the first of several domestic incidents for the day. Another domestic call came in at 7:09 p.m. on Lillie Street, with the investigation ongoing.

Warrant Arrest and Juvenile Issues
At 12:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Pickaway County Jail regarding a wanted person.
Throughout the afternoon, police also handled multiple juvenile-related complaints, including:

  • A juvenile issue reported near 2nd Street and Rose Street
  • A juvenile investigation on Dayton Street
  • An unruly juvenile call at E. 2nd Street around 6:55 p.m.

Shoplifting Complaint and Motor Vehicle Incidents
At 4:08 p.m., police responded to a theft by deception/shoplifting complaint on E. Main Street, where a warrant also factored into the call.
A short time later, at 5:12 p.m., officers were called to Allen Avenue and Church Street for a motor vehicle accident involving failure to control and an expired license. The investigation continues.

Suspicious Person, Unlicensed Driver, and Late-Night Theft
At 5:52 p.m., officers checked on a suspicious person on E. Main Street involving disorderly conduct by an intoxicated individual.
Around 8:28 p.m., police responded to Jefferson Avenue for a crash involving a driver operating a vehicle without a valid license.
The final call of the day came at 11:46 p.m., when officers were dispatched to Liberty Street for a theft without consent, where a report was taken.
