Chillicothe Police Respond to 12 Incidents on December 1, Including Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct, Missing Person Report, and Multiple Traffic Stops

CHILLICOTHE — The Chillicothe Police Department logged 12 calls for service on Monday, December 1, 2025, involving incidents ranging from indecent exposure and disorderly conduct to warrant service requests, traffic violations, and a missing person investigation.

Indecent Exposure Complaint at Bridge Street

At 8:38 a.m., officers responded to 10 N. Bridge Street (Speedway) after a report of public indecency involving exposure. Police say the investigation remains ongoing.

SWAT Team Requested for Warrant Service

At 9:14 a.m., the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Chillicothe SWAT Team to serve an arrest warrant in the area of State Route 233. Further details were not immediately released.

Disorderly Conduct Reported at Dollar Tree

Officers responded to Dollar Tree at 1075 N. Bridge Street after a complaint of insulting or taunting behavior was reported from a caller on Long Street. The incident was logged at 10:01 a.m. and remains under investigation.

Traffic Stop for Expired Registration

A traffic stop was initiated at Water Street and North Sugar Street at 5:09 p.m. after an officer noted an expired plate. No further issues were reported.

Vandalism Reported at Ohio University – Chillicothe

At 5:33 p.m., officers were called to 101 University Drive for a non-criminal vandalism report. Police are continuing to investigate.

Missing Person Report

A missing person case was opened at 590 W. 5th Street at 6:57 p.m. Officers said the investigation is still active.

Expired License Leads to Citation

At 7:27 p.m., a patrol officer stopped a vehicle on E. Main Street after observing no displayed registration. The driver stated the plate had been lost and presented a handwritten note. The driver was found to have an expired license since December 2024 and was cited. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

Domestic Disturbance and Warrant Check

Officers responded to 759 E. 4th Street at 7:39 p.m. for a report of a domestic dispute. The call also involved a warrant-related matter. Police have not released additional information.

Suicidal Threats in Yoctangee Park Annex

At 8:32 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Yoctangee Park Annex for a report of suicidal threats. No further details were provided.

Disorderly Conduct at Executive Inn

The day concluded with a disorderly conduct call at 24 N. Bridge Street (Executive Inn) at 11:38 p.m. Officers responded to reports of an intoxicated individual creating a risk of harm. The case is pending further investigation.
