Chillicothe Police Report: Arrests, Thefts, and Hit-Skip Crashes Mark Busy Weekend

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to multiple incidents over the weekend of October 19, 2025, including arrests, thefts, and vehicle-related offenses, according to the department’s latest daily media report.

An officer made an arrest early Sunday morning following a warrant-related citizen contact on South Watt Street. Later that night, another traffic stop led to citations for driving under suspension and a one-way street violation on North McArthur Street.

Police also investigated a burglary and theft reported on North Hickory Street. The responding officer said the case remains under investigation.

Several other traffic and property incidents were also logged:

  • North Bridge Street: Officers issued a citation for an obstructed license plate and driving under suspension.
  • Chips Drive-Thru: Police responded to a disturbance involving possible criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
  • Arch Street: Officers took a hit-skip crash report in the afternoon.
  • Western Avenue (Kroger): A separate hit-skip crash was reported; investigation is ongoing.
  • Columbus Street: Officers investigated the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
  • Sherman Park: A criminal trespass incident resulted in a summons being issued.
  • Dollar Tree on North Bridge Street: Officers were dispatched for a suspicious person complaint that also involved a criminal trespass investigation.

Police continue to investigate several of the listed cases.
