
CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents across the city on Sunday, September 14, ranging from criminal trespass and drug possession to disorderly conduct and theft.
The night began just after midnight when officers were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) regarding a trespassing complaint on East Water Street. Shortly after, around 1:02 a.m., police initiated a traffic stop on Columbus Street that resulted in an investigation into suspected possession of a Schedule I or II substance and tampering with evidence.
At 2:14 a.m., officers contacted two bicyclists on East 2nd Street, leading to a warrant check. Another warrant-related stop followed at 2:55 a.m. when police pulled over a silver Mercedes-Benz SUV on East Main Street.

Later that morning, at 7:22 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Best Western on North Bridge Street after reports of an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance. A few hours later, a theft was reported at the AMCO gas station at Bridge and Riverside.
Police also responded to an unruly juvenile incident on North Brownell Street at 11:32 a.m. and a reported violation of a protection order on Ringwald Street at 2:33 p.m. By mid-afternoon, a disorderly conduct call came from Mary Lou Patton Park on Toledo Street.
Evening reports included multiple disorderly conduct cases, including incidents at Yoctangee Park (North Paint Street and East Water Street), Jefferson Avenue, and the Executive Inn on North Bridge Street. Officers also investigated additional trespass complaints and a traffic stop for driving under suspension on North Sugar Street.
In a non-criminal matter, a key fob was turned into the police station on North Paint Street.
In total, Chillicothe Police recorded 17 incidents on September 14. Several cases remain under investigation.
