
CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a range of incidents throughout Saturday, November 1, 2025, including arrests for operating a vehicle under the influence, thefts, and several ongoing investigations.
According to the department’s daily media report, the first call of the day came shortly after midnight when an officer conducted a traffic stop on Washington Avenue, resulting in an OVI arrest.
A short time later, officers were dispatched to McArthur Gardens for a report of criminal trespassing. That investigation remains ongoing. Police also handled another trespass complaint later that morning on Ervin Avenue.
Around 10 a.m., officers responded to Adams Avenue for a possible overdose, which was classified as a disorderly conduct case pending further investigation.
Later in the morning and early afternoon, officers served several active warrants on Dayton Street, South McArthur Street, and North Paint Street.
Police also reported responding to East 7th Street regarding a non-suspicious death, and a separate report was filed for a possible stolen vehicle, which remains under investigation.
During the afternoon hours, officers were called to Walmart on River Trace for a theft report involving a detained female suspect. Another theft was reported on Jefferson Avenue, related to an incident that occurred on Water Street. Both theft cases remain open.
Later in the day, police took an assault report connected to a civil dispute over a vehicle on West 2nd Street. Officers also responded to North High Street for another trespassing incident, and to South Paint Street for a traffic crash involving a driver with a suspended license.
The evening concluded with another OVI-related crash reported near Western Avenue and Woodbridge Avenue.
Chillicothe Police continue to investigate several of the cases listed in Saturday’s report.
