The day began at 4:55 AM when an officer on patrol spotted a beige Ford Escape (OH license plate GOF6444) on E 4th St with its front passenger door open, clothing and earbuds on the grass, and an open glovebox, suggesting recent use (PD-P2502692). Investigations continue into this potential crime scene. At 5:19 AM, an officer served a warrant at the jail (PD-P2502694), while a vandalism report at O’Reilly Auto Parts on N Bridge St at 6:18 AM (PD-P2502695) and a threats complaint on E Main St at 10:18 AM (PD-P2502698) remain under review.
