CHILLICOTHE, OH — Chillicothe Police arrested a man on an active warrant following a bicycle chase on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 8:09 PM EDT, according to a report released on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 09:19 AM EDT. The incident began on Bridge Street and concluded on Hickory Street after the suspect attempted to evade officers.
An officer on patrol spotted the suspect riding southbound on Bridge Street, aware of his active warrant for a probation violation (CRB2500087A). When the officer activated lights and siren, the suspect glanced back but continued riding, leading police on a chase through the city. The pursuit spanned from Bridge Street to the flood wall, Riverside Dr, and finally to Hickory Street, where officers boxed him in and made the arrest. The suspect now faces additional charges of obstructing official business.
