CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) and Ross County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) handled a combined total of 39 incidents on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, according to reports released on Thursday, May 22, at 08:27 AM EDT. The day’s activities in Ross County included a range of issues, from parking complaints and thefts to serious offenses like assault and a possible rape investigation.

The CPD logged 25 incidents, starting at 12:23 AM with a criminal trespass report at 315 E Water St involving threats (PD-P2502664). Parking issues dominated the morning, with officers responding to complaints on N McArthur St (08:36), Theatre St (08:50), Diehl St (09:25), Vincent St (09:31), Washington Ave (10:15, 10:28), and Adams Ave (11:20, 11:36, 11:48). Disorderly conduct reports included a telecommunication harassment case on Winona Blvd at 09:45 (PD-P2502671) and another on S Walnut St at 10:05 (PD-P2502674). Thefts were reported at 837 E Water St (Moose Lodge) at 10:19 (PD-P2502675) and S Brownell St at 12:10 (PD-P2502682).
