COLUMBUS, Ohio – A Chillicothe man was arrested early this week after a burglary at the Federal Courthouse in Columbus.
According to authorities, 41-year-old Dwayne Funderburke crashed a vehicle into the courthouse building on the 80 block of Marconi Boulevard around 11:14 p.m. on September 22. He then entered the parking garage, shattered a door to access the main building, and triggered a fire alarm.
Columbus Police, working with federal law enforcement partners, conducted a search of the courthouse. Funderburke eventually surrendered to officers and was taken into custody. He is facing burglary charges in connection with the incident.
