
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Forestry Association Foundation (OFAF) has awarded more than $12,000 in conservation education grants to organizations across the state for 2026, supporting projects that promote forest conservation, environmental education, and sustainable land management.
The grants, which are typically small-scale, are designed to help organizations fund programs that align with OFAF’s mission of advancing conservation education and raising awareness about the importance of Ohio’s forest resources.
Among the 2026 recipients is the Zane Trace FFA Chapter of Chillicothe, highlighting local involvement in conservation education efforts. Other grant recipients from around Ohio include:
- Acres of Adventure (Sycamore)
- Holmes County Soil and Water Conservation District (Millersburg)
- Northeast and Central Ohio Women Owning Woodlands (Kirtland)
- Ohio Chapter of the Society of American Foresters (Somerdale)
- The Paul Bunyan Show (Old Washington)
- Vinton County Soil and Water Conservation District (McArthur)
- Zane Trace FFA Chapter (Chillicothe)
