LANCASTER, OH — The highly anticipated arrival of Chick-fil-A in Lancaster is nearly here. The new restaurant, located at 1513 Ety Road, is set to officially open its doors on Thursday, March 12, at 6:30 a.m., marking a significant boost to the local economy.

The opening is expected to create approximately 100 full- and part-time jobs, providing competitive pay, benefits, and scholarship opportunities for local residents.

A Career Comeback Story

Local Owner-Operator Julia Herrington is leading the charge. Herrington’s journey with the brand began seven years ago as an entry-level Team Member. After rising through the ranks of leadership, she was selected to helm the Lancaster location as a small business owner.

“I’ve seen firsthand how a restaurant can bring people together,” said Herrington. “As we open the first Chick-fil-A in Lancaster, I’m excited to invest in our people by creating meaningful career paths while also building a place where the entire community can gather.”

Opening Day “Moove-In” Party

To kick off the grand opening, the restaurant is hosting a “Moove-In” Party. In a nod to the brand’s famous mascots, any guest who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire—ranging from a full suit to a simple spotted accessory—can redeem one free entrée or kid’s meal. The offer is available for both dine-in and drive-thru customers while supplies last.

Investing in Fairfield County

The new location isn’t just serving chicken; it’s aiming to serve the community through several charitable initiatives:

  • Hunger Relief: To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. is donating $25,000 to Feeding America, with funds specifically supporting the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
  • Food Conservation: The restaurant will participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table® program, which redirects surplus food from the kitchen to local nonprofits to feed those in need.

Service and Hours

The Ety Road location will offer a full suite of service options, including dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and mobile pickup via the “Mobile Thru” lane. The restaurant will operate Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (closed on Sundays).

With its emphasis on hospitality and local ownership, the Lancaster Chick-fil-A looks to become a staple for Fairfield County families and commuters alike.
