
Circleville, Ohio — July 28, 2025
The Circleville Police Department responded to a wide range of calls between Friday, July 25 and Sunday, July 27, logging nearly 100 separate incidents throughout the city.
During this period, officers conducted numerous extra patrols and well-being checks, many of which were resolved without further incident. However, a number of more serious cases were also recorded:
- Assaults and Domestic Incidents: Police took multiple assault reports across the city, including on Town Street, West Main Street, and West Mill Street. One of the incidents on Town Street led to an arrest. Several domestic disturbances were reported as well, including at locations such as Second Avenue, Clark Drive, and Gale Court. At least one of these resulted in an arrest.
- Theft and Trespassing: Officers responded to reports of theft and trespassing on South Court Street, East Franklin Street, and Griner Avenue. In most cases, reports were taken for further investigation.
- Juvenile Complaints and Fights: A handful of juvenile-related incidents occurred, including complaints on East Franklin Street and Georgia Road. Police also responded to physical altercations on Logan Street and West Main Street.
- Traffic Enforcement and Stops: Officers conducted dozens of traffic stops throughout the city, issuing citations and warnings. One of the stops on East Ohio Street resulted in an arrest.
- Suspicious Activity and Alarms: Circleville Police investigated several reports of suspicious persons and vehicles, as well as multiple alarm drops. Most of these were deemed either accidental or unfounded.
- Fire and EMS Calls: Emergency services also responded to multiple fire and medical alarm drops, including a small fire on East Main Street and a carbon monoxide-related call on East Franklin Street. All were cleared without major incident.
One notable report occurred Sunday night on Logan Street, where a vehicle was reported stolen. That case remains under investigation.
With 98 total records over the span of three days, Circleville Police were kept busy addressing a full spectrum of community concerns.
