PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — A 19-year-old man is in custody following the safe return of a missing 15-year-old girl from Commercial Point whose disappearance sparked concern across Pickaway County over the weekend.
On Saturday, a social media post quickly spread throughout the local community reporting the girl missing, with details indicating she was last seen in the Durrett Road area. Authorities believed she was with 19-year-old Dreshone Davis.
Less than 24 hours later, Davis was located and arrested. He was booked into the Pickaway County Jail on multiple charges, including obstruction of official business, contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a minor, and interference with custody.
The teen has since been found and returned safely home. Davis remains in custody pending his court appearance, which is scheduled for tomorrow.
Pickaway County officials thanked the public for sharing information and assisting in the quick recovery of the missing teen.
