WHEELERSBURG, Ohio — Authorities are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred early this morning at a standalone ATM at a local bank branch along Ohio River Road.
According to officials, two suspects were involved in the attempted theft. The individuals were reportedly driving a white Ford F-350 during the incident.
After leaving the scene, the suspects abandoned the truck behind a nearby Dollar Tree, located within an apartment complex. Authorities say the individuals then fled the area on foot.
The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating and working to identify those involved. Officials are asking anyone who may have information or surveillance footage from the area to come forward.
No injuries have been reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
