ASHVILLE, OH – The Ashville Police Department has confirmed that an incident that occurred in the village on September 10, 2025 is under active investigation.
According to a statement released by Chief Bryan Cline, Ashville Police are working closely with the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office and have also consulted the Pickaway County Prosecutor’s Office. While rumors and speculation have circulated within the community, officials say they are not releasing specific details at this time.
“This is in no way trying to keep information from the public, but instead it is to ensure a complete and solid investigation is conducted,” Chief Cline said.
He emphasized that information will be released once the investigation is complete and a decision is made by the agencies involved.
Residents are asked to remain patient and allow law enforcement the time needed to fully investigate the matter.
