CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (Sept. 19, 2025) – Circleville Elementary School saw an unexpected police response Friday morning after an altercation broke out between adults during student drop-off.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. and, according to early reports, involved parents and a bus driver. Multiple law enforcement units responded to the school to separate the adults from children arriving for class.
In a statement, the district described the matter as an “adult experience” and stressed that all students were safe throughout the incident. Officials confirmed that the situation was quickly contained and that police are handling the investigation into the altercation and reported injuries. One person was detained at the time.
Classes at Circleville Elementary continued as scheduled following the response.
