CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — The “Greatest Free Show on Earth” is growing even bigger this year, as the 119th Annual Circleville Pumpkin Show officially expands its schedule to include a Tuesday night preview featuring an eighth parade.
Traditionally known among Circleville locals as an unofficial preview evening to enjoy concessions before the official Wednesday kickoff, Tuesday, October 20, 2026, will now serve as an official evening event. Amusement rides and concession stands will open at 5:00 p.m., accompanied by a $35 ride wristband special running from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at The Savings Bank Stage at Pumpkin Show Park, followed by live entertainment from Studio One at 5:45 p.m.
The evening’s highlight will take place at 7:00 p.m. with the inaugural Tuesday night parade, themed “Pumpkin Show Celebrates 250 years of Agriculture” and sponsored by R.J. Wright & Sons, LTD. The addition brings the festival’s total parade lineup to eight across its multi-day run.
Organizers say the expansion reflects the festival’s continuing tradition of showing love to the tens of thousands of visitors who flock to Pickaway County every autumn.
The main festival events—including the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-In, Little Miss and Miss Pumpkin Show parades, Baby Parade, Pet Parade, and Queen’s Parade—will run Wednesday, October 21 through Saturday, October 24.
