ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Emergency crews are responding to a serious crash Saturday afternoon involving a man who was reportedly struck by a vehicle while operating a lawn mower.
The collision was reported in the area of Chester Hill Road shortly after 3 p.m. on Aug. 8.
According to preliminary dispatch information, a truck struck the man while he was on the lawn mower. The victim was reportedly conscious following the crash but suffered critical injuries.
A medical helicopter was requested to transport the injured individual for further medical treatment.
Emergency responders, including a squad and rescue personnel, were dispatched to the scene.
