The 2026 "Earth Gathering" festival in Chillicothe

Chillicothe — Here’s a quick video survey of the current show at the Pump House Center for the Arts in Chillicothe’s Yoctangee Park, as a reminder of the “Earth Gathering” festival on the Pump House grounds today.

The annual festival of “earth-friendly art, music, food, products, & ideas” is next door to the free public art gallery from 11am to 6pm on April 18th, 2026.

The National Weather Service forecast shows a chance of rain in the afternoon, but so far there is no announcement of the festival being delayed to its rain date of tomorrow, Sunday.

Watch for announcements, and find other information, on the Facebook page of the Chillicothe Art League. Also find information about the art show on the Facebook page of the Pump House.

And don’t be discouraged by park construction – you can still get back to the Pump House from the Paint Street and Mill Street entrances…though Mill Street is accessible only from northbound Yoctangee Parkway, and eastbound Enderlin Circle is closed at the Paint Street entrance.

Chestnut Street is a usable cutover from southbound High Street to northbound Yoctangee Boulevard and then the Mill Street park entrance at the YMCA.

Be sure to drive past the city pool back to the floodwall, and follow the winding park road to the Pump House and playground area below the closed Mulberry Street entrance. For online navigation, use “1 Enderlin Circle, Chillicothe, OH 45601” – but make sure your digital guide knows what streets are closed.

The day started with the annual Scioto River cleanup, on the riverbank along Yoctangee Park Annex.
