CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (April 7, 2026) — Community members are invited to come together later this month for the 15th Annual Parkinson’s Walk for a Cure, a family-friendly event focused on raising awareness, support, and funding for those affected by Parkinson’s disease.

The event, themed “No One Walks Alone,” will take place on Saturday, April 25 at Mary Virginia Crites Hannan Park, with registration beginning at 9 a.m.

Organizers say the walk is open to participants of all ages and abilities, encouraging families, friends, and even pets to join in a day centered on community, hope, and support.

💙 Supporting Local Families and Research

Proceeds from the event will benefit both Parkinson’s disease research and local efforts through the Parkinson’s Community Care Fund (PCCF). Funds will help provide:

  • Assistive devices for individuals living with Parkinson’s
  • Access to wellness programs through OhioHealth
  • Resources aimed at improving independence and quality of life

🚶‍♂️ A Community-Focused Event

In addition to the walk itself, attendees can expect a welcoming atmosphere designed to bring people together. Organizers say the event is about more than fundraising—it’s about connection and encouragement.

Participants are invited to walk in honor of loved ones, support friends, or simply take part in a meaningful cause.

📞 Registration and Information

Those interested can pre-register online or sign up the day of the event. For more information, organizers encourage reaching out to event coordinator Teresa Riffle via phone or email.

Organizers say the message behind the event remains simple but powerful: no one faces Parkinson’s alone.
