CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Officers with the Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents throughout April 1, including arrests on warrants, domestic-related calls, and a reported burglary.

Police activity began early in the morning when officers were dispatched to East 7th Street for a report of a runaway juvenile. A similar call involving an unruly juvenile was later reported on West Main Street late that evening.

Authorities also made multiple warrant-related arrests during the day. In one case, a woman identified as Haleigh Ingram was taken into custody on St. Margaret Road on an outstanding felony warrant from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for tampering with records. She was transported to jail and held pending a court appearance.

Officers were also called to several disorderly conduct and domestic-related incidents. A disturbance was reported early in the morning at a McDonald’s on East Main Street, while later in the day police responded to a domestic dispute on Hirn Street and a reported domestic violence incident connected to a location on Logan Street. Investigations into those incidents are ongoing.

In the evening, police were dispatched to East 2nd Street for a breaking and entering complaint. Authorities say the case remains under investigation.

Additional calls included a harassment complaint at the Law Enforcement Complex, a reported violation of a protection order on Fleet Street, and a pedestrian struck in the roadway near Western Avenue. The extent of injuries in that incident has not been released.

Officials say several of the cases remain active as investigations continue.
