Circleville Police Respond to 31 Calls for Service on March 2

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (March 3, 2026) — The Circleville Police Department responded to 31 calls for service throughout the city on Monday, March 2, according to the department’s daily media report.

Overnight Patrols and Burglary Report

Officers conducted numerous extra patrols during the overnight hours across several neighborhoods, including West High Street, North Court Street, South Court Street, Walnut Street, East Main Street, East Circle Lane, Clark Drive and East High Street. All were checked and cleared without incident.

At approximately 2:53 a.m., police took a burglary report on Logan Street. Details surrounding the incident were not immediately available, and the case remains under investigation.

An open door check on North Court Street shortly after midnight was determined to be secure.

Afternoon Calls and Investigations

Shortly after 10 a.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Atwater Avenue, which was checked and cleared.

Police also handled a property damage complaint on South Western Avenue around noon. A reported injury crash on Crites Road was canceled prior to officers arriving on scene.

In the early afternoon, a warrant report was taken on South Scioto Street, followed by a domestic trouble call on U.S. Route 23.

Later, officers responded to South Scioto Street for a well-being check involving reported suicide threats. Emergency medical personnel assisted, and a report was taken.

Evening Activity

Additional calls included a traffic offense investigation on Lancaster Pike, an unruly juvenile complaint on East Franklin Street, and a parking complaint on Brink Drive.

Police also took a report for a violation of a protection order on South Scioto Street during the evening hours.

An animal-related call on Town Street was handled by another agency.

The day concluded with a domestic trouble call on Clark Drive late Monday night, which was checked and cleared, along with several additional extra patrols.

Authorities say several incidents remain under investigation
