CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe Police responded to a wide range of incidents throughout the city on February 10, including trespassing complaints, thefts, disorderly conduct reports, and a non-suspicious death investigation.
Shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to McArthur Gardens on Columbus Street for a reported assault involving a criminal trespass complaint. The investigation remains ongoing.
At approximately 1:33 a.m., an officer on patrol near Columbus Street and Douglas Avenue made contact with a male subject and discovered an outstanding warrant. An arrest was made.
Later in the morning at 7:23 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of West Water Street regarding a menacing complaint involving reported threats.
Just before 7:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Complex to take a report of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on East Main Street. That investigation is continuing.
Around 8:02 a.m., police were called to Landmark Health, 242 E. Main St., where management requested assistance in barring a client from the business. The case remains under investigation.
At 9:44 a.m., officers responded to a theft complaint at Par Mar Store 112 (Amoco), 61 N. Bridge St. The incident involved an alleged theft without consent. The investigation is ongoing.
Police returned to Columbus Street at 10:33 a.m. for an active criminal trespass complaint in the 1000 block.
At 11:16 a.m., officers conducted a welfare check on South Bowman Road. The incident was classified as a non-suspicious death. The investigation is continuing.
Disorderly conduct complaints made up a significant portion of the afternoon calls. At 1:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to 45 River Trace Lane. Around the same time, another disorderly conduct and trespassing complaint was reported at Rural King, 1470 N. Bridge St.
Officers were also contacted at 3:35 p.m. regarding a suspicious, non-criminal matter on Yoctangee Parkway. Details were not released.
At 3:49 p.m., police responded to Goodwill Daycare Center, 2541 Western Ave., for a disorderly conduct complaint. That investigation remains ongoing.
In the evening hours, officers were called to 81 S. Brownell St. at 7:45 p.m. for a disorderly incident involving a dog bite. A report was taken, and no further action was indicated.
The final call of the day occurred at 8:31 p.m., when officers were dispatched to the Hampton Inn & Suites, 100 N. Plaza Blvd., regarding a report of an intoxicated individual allegedly creating a risk of harm. That investigation is continuing.
Authorities have not released additional details on any of the incidents.
