NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Chipotle Mexican Grill announced it will debut its first-ever High Protein Menu across the United States and Canada on Tuesday, Dec. 23, offering guests new ways to enjoy protein-packed meals and snacks made with the brand’s signature clean ingredients.

The new menu features items ranging from 15 to 81 grams of protein, including hearty entrées, lighter bowls, and Chipotle’s first-ever snack item — the High Protein Cup. The snack-sized option includes four ounces of freshly grilled, hand-cut Adobo Chicken or Steak, delivering 32 grams of protein and designed for guests looking for a quick, high-protein boost.

Chipotle officials say the menu responds to growing consumer demand for protein-forward meals, as high-protein diets continue to rank as the most popular eating pattern in the U.S. for the third consecutive year.

“Guests have been customizing their meals to increase protein for years,” said Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s President and Chief Brand Officer. “This curated menu brings that behavior to the forefront with clean ingredients and flexible portions, making it easier to reach protein and nutrition goals.”

Menu Highlights

The High Protein Menu includes:

  • Double High Protein Bowl (81g protein) with double Adobo Chicken
  • High Protein–High Fiber Bowl (46g protein), designed to be GLP-1 friendly
  • High Protein–Low Calorie Salad (36g protein)
  • Double High Protein Burrito (79g protein)
  • High Protein Cup with Adobo Chicken (32g protein)
  • Adobo Chicken Taco (15g protein), with prices starting at $3.50 at select locations

The national average price for the High Protein Cup is $3.82, though pricing may vary by location.

Built With Fans in Mind

Beginning Jan. 5, Chipotle will also spotlight high-protein meals created by athletes and health-focused creators inside its app and online ordering platforms. Featured meals include protein-heavy burritos, bowls, and tacos inspired by longtime Chipotle superfans.

Chipotle’s Adobo Chicken, a central ingredient across the new menu, is responsibly sourced, humanely raised, and never given antibiotics.

The High Protein Menu will be available for in-restaurant ordering as well as through the Chipotle app and online platforms starting Dec. 23.
