Chillicothe Police responded to several incidents throughout Thanksgiving Day, according to the department’s Nov. 28 daily media report.

Early-Morning Arrest on Jefferson Avenue
Around 3:09 a.m., officers were dispatched to Jefferson Avenue after a 911 hang-up call. Police determined an assault and domestic violence incident had occurred, and one individual was taken into custody. No further details were released.

Hit-Skip Reported; Investigation Ongoing
A Code 2 hit-skip was reported later in the morning. Police did not release the location or additional information as the investigation remains open.

Disorderly and Domestic Call on King Street
At 7:27 a.m., officers responded to a disorderly conduct call on Vine Street.
Then at 11:23 a.m., police were called to King Street in reference to a domestic dispute. The investigation into that incident is ongoing.

Trespass Complaint on Jefferson Avenue
At 11:27 a.m., police were dispatched to the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue for a trespassing report. Officers took information and continue to investigate.

Custody Issue Reported via Phone
Around 8:46 p.m., officers received a phone call regarding a custody dispute on Ohio Avenue. Police say the matter remains under review.

Chillicothe Police logged a total of six calls for service involving criminal or disorderly activity on Nov. 27.
