ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A routine patrol on Sunday night led to two arrests after Ross County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle and uncovered multiple suspected illegal drugs.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were patrolling the Massieville Road area around 9:30 p.m. on November 23, 2025, when they observed a 2010 blue Ford Escape commit several traffic violations. Deputies initiated a stop on Tabernacle Road.
The vehicle was driven by 35-year-old Ltasha Gilmore, with 36-year-old Bryan Virgin riding as a passenger.
During the stop, deputies conducted an investigation and searched the vehicle. That search resulted in the discovery of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and drug abuse instruments, authorities said.
Both Gilmore and Virgin were arrested at the scene and charged with possession of drug abuse instruments. Additional charges are expected pending laboratory test results on the suspected narcotics.
The investigation remains ongoing.
