CIRCLEVILLE — City police handled a steady flow of calls on Thursday, November 20, responding to everything from routine extra patrols to domestic incidents, alarms, and fire-related calls, according to the daily Media CFS report.
Officers conducted several overnight extra patrols in neighborhoods along East Circle Lane, Walnut Street, West Main Street, and North Court Street. All were found to be checked okay.
Around 2:30 a.m., crews responded to Hayward Avenue on a report involving natural gas or electricity. The situation was handled on scene with no transport needed.
Police also responded to multiple alarm drops, including calls on North Court Street at 8:41 a.m. and East Main Street just after 1 p.m., both of which checked out without issue.
A vehicle repossession on Atwater Avenue was documented late in the morning, while officers later attempted to serve a warrant along U.S. 23, but the individual was gone on arrival.

Two well-being checks were dispatched — one on South Pickaway Street, which was canceled before officers arrived, and another on Highland Avenue that resulted in officers unable to locate the subject.
Several calls required fire and mutual-aid response, including a 911 hang-up on U.S. 23 handled by another agency, a fire call on Island Road, and a fire department complaint on Second Avenue.
Officers took reports in three notable incidents throughout the day:
• Domestic trouble on Walnut Street at 4:01 p.m.
• Dog bite on East Mill Street at 4:12 p.m.
• Domestic trouble on Nicholas Drive at 9:44 p.m.
Later in the evening, police also took a report for breaking and entering on Walnut Street at 9:55 p.m.
In total, Circleville Police logged 20 calls for service for the day.
