
CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville Police responded to 19 calls for service on Thursday, November 13, ranging from domestic disturbances and noise complaints to traffic stops and an arrest following an alarm drop on U.S. 23.
The first call of the day came just after 1:30 a.m. on W. Water Street, where officers investigated a report of domestic trouble. The situation was checked and found to be okay. Minutes later, police were dispatched to Linden Lane for a noise complaint, which did not result in a report.
At 2:56 a.m., officers responded to an alarm drop on U.S. 23, which led to an arrest, marking one of the more serious incidents of the early morning hours.
Mid-morning, police handled an alarm drop involving fire and EMS on E. Ohio Street, which was cleared without issue. A short time later, a domestic trouble call on N. Pickaway Street required emergency squad assistance, and one individual was transported to the hospital.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, officers responded to a series of incidents, including:
- A miscellaneous complaint on E. Mound Street
- A fire department complaint involving MedFlight
- A 911 hang-up on Pickaway Street
- A parking complaint on S. Washington Street
- A violation of a protection order on Sycamore Drive, which resulted in a report
- Multiple traffic stops, including one citation on E. Main Street and a warning on E. Ohio Street
- A reported fight on S. Pickaway Street, which was checked and found to be okay
- A disturbance on N. Pickaway Street, where a report was taken
- A threats/harassment complaint on E. Main Street
- A trespassing call on Second Avenue
The day concluded with extra patrols on N. Court Street and Mace Drive, both of which were checked and found to be okay.
