
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — The Circleville Police Department was kept busy over a two-day span from November 10–11, 2025, responding to 65 separate incidents ranging from vehicle crashes and suspicious activity to civil complaints and medical emergencies.
The early morning hours of November 10 began with multiple extra patrols and a traffic stop on U.S. Route 23 that resulted in a citation. Officers also checked on several suspicious vehicles and alarm drops, all of which were deemed secure.
Later that morning, officers responded to two vehicle crashes, one of which involved injuries on Emerson Road, where a person was transported to the hospital by the squad. A hit-skip crash was also reported on South Pickaway Street, and a property damage incident was documented on U.S. Route 23.
Throughout the day, police handled several civil disputes, juvenile complaints, and threats or harassment calls, while also assisting with officer standbys and paper service across multiple addresses.
On November 11, officers again conducted multiple extra patrols and responded to several 911 hang-up calls. A property damage report was filed on Mace Drive, and a natural gas or electrical issue was reported on West Corwin Street. Later that afternoon, police investigated a suspicious vehicle on U.S. 23 and a trespassing complaint on East Franklin Street.
A squad was requested for a medical emergency on South Court Street, and another non-injury crash was reported later in the evening on Stoutsville Pike. Several suspicious person calls were also investigated but were cleared when officers were unable to locate anyone.
In all, Circleville officers managed a mix of emergency responses, traffic enforcement, and community patrols throughout the 48-hour period.
