LANCASTER, OH — The holiday season will ring bright with music as the Lancaster Men’s Chorus presents its annual Christmas concert, “Our Favorite Things,” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus Street.
This year’s performance will also feature the Bloom-Carroll High School Chamber Singers, directed by Mark Yoder, joining the chorus for an afternoon filled with traditional favorites and festive fun the whole family can enjoy.
Directed by Mark Severance, the Lancaster Men’s Chorus has long been a community favorite, blending humor, harmony, and holiday spirit into one of Lancaster’s most beloved traditions.
“The Christmas concert is a Lancaster tradition that provides an opportunity for the whole family to share an experience and create memories that can be enjoyed for years,” said Santa Claus, a tenor in the group. “Instead of things, maybe this year is the year to give time and make memories for your family.”
Since its founding, the Lancaster Men’s Chorus has become a cherished part of Fairfield County’s arts community. Established in 1976, its scholarship fund has awarded more than $125,000 to local students, supporting young musicians across the region.
With decades of dedication and community support, the Lancaster Men’s Chorus stands as Fairfield County’s longest continuously operating non-profit, non-religious musical organization.
