Veterans Day 2025: Free Meals and Discounts to Honor Those Who Served

As Veterans Day approaches on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, restaurants and businesses across the nation are once again stepping up to show appreciation for the men and women who’ve served in the U.S. Armed Forces. From free breakfasts and burgers to discounts and complimentary coffee, these offers are a small token of gratitude for those who have earned it.

Below are some of the top Veterans Day 2025 freebies and deals available nationwide:


🍽️ Free Meals and Restaurant Deals

Applebee’s: Veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a complimentary dine-in lunch or dinner from a special menu of entrées, plus receive a $5 dining card to use later.

Bob Evans: Offering a free dine-in breakfast from a select menu all day long for veterans and active-duty military.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for dine-in or walk-in customers.

Golden Corral: Celebrating its 25th annual Military Appreciation Night, Golden Corral offers free dinner buffets and drinks to active-duty and retired service members from 4 p.m. until close.

IHOP: Free stack of “Red, White & Blue Pancakes” or a breakfast combo, available 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Outback Steakhouse: Complimentary three-course meal for all active-duty military and veterans on both Nov. 10 (Marine Corps Birthday) and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day).

Texas Roadhouse: Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., veterans and active-duty military will receive meal vouchers redeemable through May 31, 2026.

Starbucks: Offering a free tall (12 oz.) hot or iced brewed coffee to veterans, service members, and their spouses. Starbucks is also donating $200,000 to the USO and Wounded Warrior Project.

Cracker Barrel: Free Sunrise Pancake breakfast for veterans on Nov. 11.

Red Robin: Free Big Tavern Burger with bottomless fries for veterans and active-duty military.

Krispy Kreme: Veterans and active-duty personnel can enjoy a free doughnut of choice and small coffee.

Denny’s: Free Original Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon.

Olive Garden: Free meal from a special Veterans Day menu, served with soup or salad and breadsticks.

Red Lobster: Free meal from a select Veterans Day menu for all veterans and active-duty military.

Hooters: Veterans receive a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with a beverage purchase.

Raising Cane’s: 10% off all meals for military, veterans, police, fire, and EMTs year-round.

White Castle: Free combo or breakfast meal for veterans and active-duty service members.

In-N-Out Burger: Complimentary burger and fries for veterans at all 424 locations.

McDonald’s: Participating locations will serve a free breakfast combo meal—Egg McMuffin or Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit with hash browns and a drink—for dine-in or drive-thru customers.


These generous offers come as a small but meaningful way for communities to honor those who have served and sacrificed. Veterans are encouraged to bring proof of service—such as a military ID, VA card, or discharge papers—when visiting participating restaurants.
