Chillicothe Police Respond to Series of Thefts, Disorderly Calls, and Juvenile Incidents

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department handled 17 separate incidents on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, according to the department’s daily media report. Officers responded to a range of calls including thefts, disorderly conduct, warrants, and juvenile-related complaints throughout the city.

Among the reports:

  • Missing Person: Officers were dispatched to 209 Scioto Avenue just before 1 a.m. for a report of a missing juvenile. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Theft Reports: Several thefts were reported across the city, including incidents on West Water Street, West Fourth Street, Sycamore Street, Liberty Street, and East Fifth Street. In one case, a resident reported a stolen camo blue BMX-style bicycle with blue and green tires.
  • Disorderly Conduct: Police were called to West Seventh Street, Plyleys Lane, Cleveland Street, and River Trace Lane for various disorderly conduct complaints. One involved a juvenile allegedly trying to break into a parent’s vehicle.
  • Criminal Trespass: Officers responded to North Bridge Street, including a report at Dollar General, where a subject was reportedly trespassing.
  • Traffic Violation and Warrant: A traffic stop on Race Street resulted in a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. The driver, identified as Felicia Rickett, was also found to have an active warrant.
  • Juvenile Offenses: Police investigated several incidents involving juveniles, including unruly behavior on Mill Street and Delano Avenue, and a runaway report on East Seventh Street.

Several of the incidents remain under active investigation. No major injuries or arrests were reported as of Thursday morning.
