
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Circleville Police officers responded to 51 incidents on Tuesday, October 29, 2025, according to the department’s daily call-for-service log.
The calls ranged from extra patrols and traffic stops to reports of domestic trouble, theft, and harassment throughout the city.
Officers conducted numerous extra patrols across Sumpter Avenue, North and South Court Street, Bolens Avenue, and several other residential areas, all of which checked okay.
Traffic enforcement activity included several traffic stops on Court Street, Pickaway Street, and Mound Street, where officers issued multiple warnings.
Among the more serious calls, police responded to:
- Domestic incidents on Watt Street and East Mill Street — reports were taken in each case.
- A theft report on Plaza Drive.
- Threats/harassment on North Court Street.
- Violations of protection orders on Tiger Drive and East Franklin Street.
- A civil problem on Lynwood Avenue, where a report was also taken.
Other calls included well-being checks, disabled vehicles, suspicious vehicles, found property, and several 911 hang-ups, most of which were determined to be accidental or unfounded.
Officers also attempted to serve multiple warrants on Villa Drive throughout the day but were unable to locate the individuals involved.
The department reported no major injuries or arrests during the 24-hour period.
