CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Local art lovers have a chance to own an original piece of Pickaway County history — and support the next generation of artists — through a unique raffle organized by ArtsaRound.

The nonprofit arts organization is holding a Barn Painting Raffle featuring four original paintings by nationally recognized barn artist Robert Kroeger. Each painting captures the charm of historic Pickaway County barns and comes framed in aged barn wood.

Only 100 tickets per painting will be available, and tickets can be obtained for a $5 donation each at the ArtsaRound Gallery, located at 135 W. Main St. in Circleville. The drawing will take place at the end of the year or once all tickets are sold. Winners do not need to be present to claim their prize.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to support young artists while owning a truly special piece of local art,” said ArtsaRound representatives.

Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the ArtsaRound Scholarship Fund, which helps Pickaway County students pursue their artistic passions.

ArtsaRound offers two scholarship programs:

The Pre-Collegiate Visual Art Scholarship, awarded to students in grades 8–11 to cover tuition for supplemental art classes and provide art supplies.

The Collegiate Scholarship, launched in 2025, which supports graduating seniors pursuing art-related studies in college. The first recipient, Aubree Walker of Logan Elm High School, plans to major in geology and minor in art at The Ohio State University.

Robert Kroeger, whose barn paintings and books are featured at the ArtsaRound Gallery, is known nationwide for his vivid depictions of rural architecture and efforts to preserve Ohio’s agricultural heritage through art.

ArtsaRound, established in 2001, continues to promote and support artists throughout Pickaway County and beyond. The ArtsaRound Gallery is open on weekends in the historic Marfield Bank Building.
