COLUMBUS, Ohio — Steak ‘n Shake has kicked off a nationwide initiative to install the tallest and largest American flags permitted by local regulations at all of its locations. The effort reflects the chain’s ongoing commitment to celebrating American values and traditions.
“Every Steak ‘n Shake will soon proudly fly a towering American flag, showing our support for the country and the communities we serve,” the company said in a statement. The project includes restaurants across all states where Steak ‘n Shake operates, ensuring each location has a prominent display of the national symbol.
The flag installation comes amid a period of innovation for the brand. In the first half of 2025, Steak ‘n Shake introduced beef tallow fries, real Wisconsin butter, and even accepted Bitcoin at select locations. The company says more announcements are on the way as it ushers in a “new era of fast food.”
“Steak ‘n Shake is a proud American brand, and these flags are a visible way to honor our values and traditions while continuing to innovate,” the company added.
