Chillicothe Police Respond to Variety of Calls September 27

CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department handled a dozen incidents on Saturday, September 27, ranging from disorderly conduct and thefts to domestic violence and traffic violations.

  • Disorderly Conduct at Speedway: Around 12:24 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Speedway gas station on North Bridge Street after reports of a man covered in blood, possibly the victim of an assault. The case remains under investigation.
  • Missing Juvenile: At 3:32 a.m., police responded to a missing person report on Scioto Avenue involving a juvenile.
  • Thefts Reported: Officers investigated thefts at Enderlin Circle (reported at 4:47 a.m.) and Walmart (reported at 2:54 p.m.), both cases remain open.
  • Disturbances: Police were called to Star Drive at 9:49 a.m. for a disturbance and to Eastern Avenue at 12:22 p.m., where an intoxicated man was reportedly slumped over in front of a local business. Another disorderly call came from Menards on North Bridge Street at 1:23 p.m.
  • Unusual Complaint on Scioto Avenue: At 1:35 p.m., officers were called after a woman was reportedly seen urinating in a front yard.
  • Hit-Skip Accident: At 3:36 p.m., officers responded to a hit-skip crash on East Main Street.
  • Traffic Violations: Around 6:48 p.m., officers stopped a maroon Chrysler on Douglas Avenue for expired registration and driver’s license violations. The driver, identified as Ashley Quickel, was cited and given an October 10 court date.
  • Domestic Violence Call: At 7:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute at a residence on Columbia Avenue. The case remains under investigation.

Police also assisted with juvenile-related calls and non-criminal matters throughout the day.
